Continuing from my feedback I have added to my audience Research You Gov post and added who my primary and secondary audience is.
On addition to my artist research post I have added comments including what her music videos have in common and what I can take away from them.
On my Questionnaire post I have commented on interesting responses and added a summery and how the survey has helped me decide what I need to include in my own video.

Location Scouting
For my music video I would like to use more natural lifestyle settings, this makes finding a location easier.
As it features a woman returning to the places she went with her last partner -hoping they would be there- my locations will follow a journey from a house down roads and paths to a train station, then on a train to the destination of a park.
For the house I will use my own as it has the type of window I want to use in the shots and I can control things however I please.
I would like to shoot most of the walking shots in and around Saltaire as the buildings and scenery change frequently and Shipley Glen, this could be used to look as if she is travelled longer distances if the shots taken by certain scenery is separated. I chose this also as the buildings are nicer than the ones in a lot of other near areas. I also know the area well.

As I use public transport as my main use of vehicle I am knowledgeable about the various transport stations in the local area, I wanted a preferably wanted a train station as a lot of the shot ideas would suit it better. I thought I would use the train station in Saltaire as it has a bridge going over the platforms so I am able to shoot footage from a bids eye view point ensuring various shot types.
The end location could also be in Saltaire park or St Ives where I have also looked.

Publicity
I have created a social media account on Instagram to gain publicity for my music video. On this account people who are interested can follow and receive updates on which point of the process I am on regarding filming and editing etc. I am planning to post about the various filming days and how it is progressing.
I have currently got 16 followers and are following 40 people, as I post more, follow more accounts, and add hashtags to my posts my follow count may increase.
Here is a fan account for a similar artist, they are also one on the accounts that follow me, through this I may also accumulate more followers.

Audience Questionnaire
Music Video Questionnaire
I created a questionnaire to find out which aspects of a music video the public liked along with what my target audience would appreciate in a music video. Although some responses may be a joke others were helpful.

I can not include the artist in my music video but I will include an actress that looks similar to the artist so that the viewers can relate to her as the lead singer.
What aspects are important for you in a music video?19 responses
aesthetic
Adidas, nike top brands man u know
Cohesiveness with the song
beginning. middle. end. the content and the narratives realism. quality of image and how obscure/weird/different the vid is compared to other videos of its genre.
A aesthetically pleasing colour pallet, maybe a cliff hanger is the video is from an album
cohesion with music
Good vibes ;)
The artists' vision being realised
Cinematography, storyline and colour
visuals - aesthetic, colour, set design. editing - interesting editing techniques; spilt screen, transitions, etc
Narrative
What colour schemes would you expect to see in a music video from your preferred genre?21 responses
pastels, vibrant colours, natural colours (like sunlight and trees)
Grime
Orange/red - Blue - Green
rock- a lot of black
rap - red and blue
alternative - green, purple and blue
Any aslong as the colours work well together.
Black and yellow black and yellow
muted simple colours
Maybe edgier darker colours
Simplistic
Blue. Teal. Orange.
bright colours and pastels
This gives good insight to what colours to use.
This was a helpful split to know that although my video might be 'distracting' it might not distract to much from the song. I will ensure that it assists the song by editing it to the beat of the song.
This shows that a music video when done well can definitely lead to the promotion of the song.
This was helpful as it showed a lot of people had heard of some of the similar artists.

As 61.5% of the responses I got back like some of the related artists, it shows me that the responses shown for what people like to see in music videos tells me what my target audience would appreciates in a music video.
What do you expect to see in psychedelic/alternative music video?19 responses
Drugs (2)
bright colours, trippy visuals, concept rather than narrative
Drugs
a lot of weird and wonderful stuff
Not sure
Psycoatjs
Alternative fashion
Cool colours and aesthetics
psychedelic stuff
Trippy visuals
Garish colours
Special effects
Some lip synching
Nice colours, special effect or filters perhaps, characters, beautiful locations?
The Unexpected/Surprises
Trippy editing
Lots of colours
Uniquely edited visuals
Trippy visuals, bright colours, weird images
Surrealism, progression, futurism.
What would put you off from watching a music video?18 responses
boring concept or bad song
No fresh kicks
Failiure to be engaging to the audience
nothing really
Justin Bieber
Immoral stuff
Americans
Too long
Drugs
Too much confusion
thumbnail, title of song, if it is slow starting with no action or plot
If it looked like the artist was on an ego trip
If I didn't like the music, if it looked like it was purely trying to make the artist look cool or rich or something
Unoriginality
These suggestions have some good ideas, it's important to look at the first impressions that the video would show such as the thumbnail. The person featured would also not have star treatment.
Although this questionnaire only took a small sample from people from mainly teenagers it has helped to see what I should include such as colour schemes and what to stay away from including.
From this I'm going to ensure the colours in my video match the suggestions of including a story and featuring an actress like the artist.

Artist Research - Melody's Echo Chamber
Melody's Echo Chamber
Born: 3 April 1987 (age 30)
Nationality: French
Years active: 2012 -
Members: Melody Prochet
Genres: Psychedelic rock, neo-phychedilia, dream pop, space rock
Labels: Rayon Vert Records, Fat Possum Records, Echo Park Records
Melody's Echo Chamber is the name given to the band consisting of musician Melody Prochet as well as the project name for her album released in 2012.
She has created two albums Melody's Echo Chamber (2012) and Bon Voyage (2017) along with a single "Shirim" released 2014.
Melody's Echo Chamber Shrirm Bon Voyage
Melody grew up Puyricard and had a music upbringing in which she learnt to play the piano and viola from an early age, this is said to have influenced her orchestral approach to making music.

Before creating Melody's Echo Chamber she was involved in a previous project called My Bee's Garden, this came to be known as a band and supported Tame Impala on their 2010 European Tour, after this she came to focus on a new project influenced by them.
To create Melody's Echo Chamber, Melody collaborated with Kevin Parker a singer song writer, musician and producer best known for being the lead band member for Tame Impala. The album was produced in his studio in Perth along with Melody's Grandmother's sea side home in the south of France.
Under this project name she released two albums the former Melody's Echo chamber (2012) and From Pink They Fell Into Blue.
Before her 2017 tour Melody suffered a serious injury in June 2017 resulting in a brain aneurysm and broken vertebrae therefore having to cancel it, she has been recovering ever since.
Below are a collection of tour posters from various gigs:

Similar artists consist of:
Tame Impala, Pond, Unknown Moral Orchestra, Beach House, Temples, Mild High Club, Mac Demarco, Homeshake, and Moodiod.
Here are some music videos, these are songs from the album Melody's Echo Chamber from her project Melody's Echo Chamber:
Melody Prochet's music videos have similar running themes of direct colour being bright reds and blues. The shot types suggest a relationship between the viewer and the singer as they are close up shots. Shots are commonly repeated for effect, the shots also tend to keep focus on her as the background quickly changes. From this I can take away the colours that I should se along with techniques so that my video can fit well with her other videos.

Audience Research You Gov
To find the demographic of my target audience I decided to use You Gov which gives a overview of people that are interested in various products or people. This allows me to view the demographic of people who listen to specific music.
However artists are not always featured on You Gov, including the band that I am trying to research(Melody's echo chamber). To be able to find a suitable audience I entered in similar artists of the same genre.
We can gather from this that they are young, and fully left wing.
The profile below belongs to people that listen to Beach House
This is similar to the Tame Impala however a little older and not as left wing but still to a large percentage.
This is the profile for people that listen to Unknown Mortal Orchestra
This profile is similar to to the others in the social grade and politics however they earn less and are significantly older.
The similarities in profiles for this genre of music consist of the class grade being ABC1, the location - all in the south of Britain, and all left wing, and male.
However this site is not the most reliable as it doesn't collect data from a global demographic of people and it also only collects data from You Gov members.
From looking at this I can tell that my primary audience is male from 18 - late 20s, my secondary audience is an older male audience, my aspirational audience would be 18 - late 20s female.
