Melody's Echo Chamber is the name given to the band consisting of musician Melody Prochet as well as the project name for her album released in 2012.
She has created two albums Melody's Echo Chamber (2012) and Bon Voyage (2017) along with a single "Shirim" released 2014.

Melody grew up Puyricard and had a music upbringing in which she learnt to play the piano and viola from an early age, this is said to have influenced her orchestral approach to making music.

Before creating Melody's Echo Chamber she was involved in a previous project called My Bee's Garden, this came to be known as a band and supported Tame Impala on their 2010 European Tour, after this she came to focus on a new project influenced by them.
To create Melody's Echo Chamber, Melody collaborated with Kevin Parker a singer song writer, musician and producer best known for being the lead band member for Tame Impala. The album was produced in his studio in Perth along with Melody's Grandmother's sea side home in the south of France.
Under this project name she released two albums the former Melody's Echo chamber (2012) and From Pink They Fell Into Blue.
Before her 2017 tour Melody suffered a serious injury in June 2017 resulting in a brain aneurysm and broken vertebrae therefore having to cancel it, she has been recovering ever since.

Here are some music videos, these are songs from the album Melody's Echo Chamber from her project Melody's Echo Chamber:
Melody Prochet's music videos have similar running themes of direct colour being bright reds and blues. The shot types suggest a relationship between the viewer and the singer as they are close up shots. Shots are commonly repeated for effect, the shots also tend to keep focus on her as the background quickly changes. From this I can take away the colours that I should se along with techniques so that my video can fit well with her other videos.
This is a good post Sophie but I'd like to see some comment about the existing videos for MEC - what have they got in common?, is there anything you can take away from them?
